RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL LOCAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT FUND INVESTMENT PLAN FY 2026 OF THE MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION OFFICE, MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO

WHEREAS, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, through MDRRMC Resolution No. 002, Series of 2026, approved the Supplemental Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (LDRRMF) Investment Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO);

WHEREAS, the Municipal Development Council (MDC) of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, through MDC Resolution No. 004, Series of 2026, likewise approved the Supplemental Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (LDRRMF) Investment Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office;

WHEREAS, in a letter dated September 28, 2026, Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor, requested the Sangguniang Bayan for the approval and adoption of the Supplemental Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Plan for Fiscal Year 2026, as duly endorsed and approved by the concerned local special bodies;

WHEREAS, the proposed Supplemental LDRRMF Investment Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 is intended to support and strengthen the disaster risk reduction and management programs, projects, and activities of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, and to ensure the effective implementation of measures for disaster prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, and rehabilitation and recovery;

WHEREAS, after due consideration and deliberation, the Sangguniang Bayan of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro finds the proposed Supplemental LDRRMF Investment Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 to be in order and consistent with the objectives and priorities of the Municipality's disaster risk reduction and management programs;

NOW THEREFORE on motion of Councilor Marietta R. Pajila, PhD seconded by Councilor King Philip B. Dimapilis -

BE IT RESOLVED to approve as it hereby approves the Supplemental Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund Investment Plan FY 2026 of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Program of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.

RESOVED FURTHER, to send copies of this resolution all municipal offices concerned of the municipal government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro for their information and reference.
