RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE SAMAHAN NG MGA KABABAIHANG MANGINGISDA NG SITIO ILIWAN AT OLD DANGAY FOR THE GRANT OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (P50,000.00), TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF THE ASSOCIATION’S TABLE AND CHAIRS RENTAL BUSINESS

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Local Government Unit of Roxas to promote sustainable economic development and improve the socio-economic well-being of its constituents through livelihood assistance and community-based income-generating projects;

WHEREAS, the Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Mangingisda ng Sitio Iliwan at Old Dangay is a duly organized people's organization committed to promoting livelihood opportunities and improving the economic condition of its members through sustainable income-generating projects;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Roxas recognizes the importance of supporting community organizations through financial assistance and technical interventions to ensure the successful implementation of livelihood projects;

WHEREAS, a financial grant in the amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) shall be provided to the Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Mangingisda ng Sitio Iliwan at Old Dangay, subject to existing accounting, auditing, and government regulations, for the implementation of the said project;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Christopher Y. Carvajal duly seconded by Councilor Gualberto V. Magno –

BE IT RESOLVED to authorize Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, to enter into and sign, for and on behalf of the Municipal Government of Roxas, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Mangingisda ng Sitio Iliwan at Old Dangay for a financial assistance grant in the amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) intended for the table and chairs rental business.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Accountant, the Municipal Treasurer, the Municipal Budget Officer, Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Mangingisda ng Sitio Iliwan at Old Dangay, and other concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
