RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, TO EXECUTE A SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY (SPA) NAMING MS. LOIDA C. SEVILLA, LAND TITLING OFFICER, TO ACT AND ON BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO, IN UNDERTAKING, AND FACILITATING ALL TRANSACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS NECESSARY FOR THE TRANSFER AND REGISTRATION OF TITLE OF THE PROPERTY FORMERLY OWNED BY MS. MARIA CRISTINA C. ANDRADE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BARANGAY SAN RAFAEL MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING, COVERED BY ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF TITLE (OCT) 064-2023000108, AND WHICH ACQUIRED BY THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF ROXAS THROUGH PURCHASE

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, acquired through purchase a parcel of land formerly owned by Ms. Maria Cristina C. Andrade, intended for the establishment of the Barangay San Rafael Multi-Purpose Building, covered by Original Certificate of Title (OCT) No. 064-2023000108;

WHEREAS, the registration and transfer of the title to the name of the Municipal Government of Roxas are necessary to formally establish, document, and protect the ownership of the Municipality over the subject property and to ensure the proper recording of the acquisition in the appropriate government registries;

WHEREAS, the processing of the registration and transfer of title requires the submission and execution of pertinent documents and the coordination with the concerned government agencies and offices, including, but not limited to, the Registry of Deeds, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and other relevant offices, as may be necessary;

WHEREAS, Ms. Loida C. Sevilla may be authorized to act as the duly appointed representative of the Municipal Government of Roxas to facilitate the processing, submission, follow-up, and completion of the documentary and administrative requirements necessary for the registration of the subject property in the name of the Municipality;

WHEREAS, the execution of a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) in favor of Ms. Loida C. Sevilla will provide her with the necessary authority to represent the Municipality and undertake the appropriate actions required to facilitate the registration and transfer of title, subject to applicable laws, rules, and regulations;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Christopher Y. Carvajal duly seconded by Councilor King Philip B. Dimapilis –

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, in session duly assembled, to authorize the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, to execute a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) naming Ms. Loida C. Sevilla, Land Titling Officer, to act and on behalf of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, in undertaking, and facilitating all transactions and proceedings necessary for the transfer and registration of title of the property formerly owned by Ms. Maria Cristina C. Andrade for the establishment of the Barangay San Rafael Multi-Purpose Building, covered by Original Certificate of Title (OCT) 064-2023000108, and which acquired by the Municipal Government of Roxas through purchase.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Ms. Loida C. Sevilla, the Registry of Deeds, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and other concerned offices for their information, guidance, and appropriate action.
