RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, TO EXECUTE A SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY (SPA) DESIGNATING MS. LOIDA C. SEVILLA, LAND TITLING OFFICER, AS THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO, TO ACT ON ITS BEHALF IN UNDERTAKING, PROCESSING, AND FACILITATING ALL TRANSACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS NECESSARY FOR THE TRANSFER AND REGISTRATION OF THREE (3) PROPERTIES ACQUIRED BY THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT THROUGH PURCHASE, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATES OF TITLE (TCT) NOS. T-7112, T-7111, AND T-7110, FORMERLY OWNED BY MS. MAYAM S. TORREFIEL, MR. ANTONIO T. RAMILO, AND MR. LEIDO G. ALCORAN, RESPECTIVELY

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Roxas has acquired through purchase three (3) parcels of land formerly owned by the following individuals, covered by their respective Transfer Certificates of Title (TCT), as follows:

a. Property formerly owned by Ms. Mayam S. Torrefiel, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) No. T-7112;

b. Property formerly owned by Mr. Antonio T. Ramilo, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) No. T-7111; and

c. Property formerly owned by Mr. Leido G. Alcoran, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) No. T-7110;

WHEREAS, following the acquisition of the aforementioned properties, it is necessary to undertake the appropriate legal and administrative procedures for the transfer of ownership and registration of the titles in the name of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, with the proper government agencies and offices concerned;

WHEREAS, the completion of the transfer and registration processes may require the preparation, submission, signing, and filing of documents, payment of applicable fees and taxes, coordination with the Registry of Deeds, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the local government offices, and other concerned agencies, as may be necessary under existing laws, rules, and regulations;

WHEREAS, to facilitate the expeditious and orderly completion of the foregoing transactions, it is necessary to designate an authorized representative who shall coordinate, process, and facilitate the documentary and administrative requirements relative to the transfer and registration of the aforementioned properties;

WHEREAS, Ms. Loida C. Sevilla, Land Titling Officer, is proposed to be designated as the authorized representative of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, to undertake the necessary transactions and proceedings in connection with the transfer and registration of the said properties, subject to the specific powers and limitations provided in the Special Power of Attorney (SPA);

WHEREAS, the execution of a Special Power of Attorney by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, for and in behalf of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, will formally authorize Ms. Sevilla to represent the Municipality in dealing with the concerned government agencies and offices for the purpose of completing the transfer and registration of the titles of the properties in the name of the Municipal Government;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Christopher Y. Carvajal duly seconded by Councilor Robert A. Baticos —

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, in session duly assembled, to authorize the Municipal Mayor, HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, to execute a Special Power of Attorney (SPA), for and in behalf of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, designating Ms. Loida C. Sevilla, Land Titling Officer, as its authorized representative to undertake, process, and facilitate the transactions and proceedings necessary for the transfer and registration of the following properties acquired by the Municipal Government through purchase:

a. Property formerly owned by Ms. Mayam S. Torrefiel, covered by TCT No. T-7112;

b. Property formerly owned by Mr. Antonio T. Ramilo, covered by TCT No. T-7111; and

c. Property formerly owned by Mr. Leido G. Alcoran, covered by TCT No. T-7110;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Ms. Loida C. Sevilla, the Registry of Deeds, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and other concerned offices and agencies for their information, guidance, and appropriate action.
