RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE REQUEST OF HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL ACCESS ROAD AT SITIO JAMINDANG, BARANGAY DANGAY, ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO, WITH AN ESTIMATED PROJECT COST OF THIRTY MILLION PESOS (₱30,000,000.00)

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, recognizes the importance of developing and improving local road infrastructure to enhance connectivity, facilitate the movement of agricultural products, and promote the socio-economic development of rural communities;

WHEREAS, Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor, in his letter dated September 30, 2026, requested the Sangguniang Bayan to endorse to the Department of Agriculture (DA) the proposed construction of a Local Access Road at Sitio Jamindang, Barangay Dangay, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, with an estimated project cost of Thirty Million Pesos (₱30,000,000.00);

WHEREAS, the proposed Local Access Road is intended to provide improved accessibility and connectivity to the residents and agricultural communities of Sitio Jamindang and nearby areas, particularly in the transportation of farm inputs, agricultural products, and other essential goods;

WHEREAS, the proposed project is consistent with the Municipality's continuing efforts to improve rural infrastructure and strengthen agricultural development, thereby contributing to increased productivity, improved livelihood opportunities, and enhanced welfare of the farming communities of Barangay Dangay;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan fully supports the initiative of the Municipal Government to pursue infrastructure projects that will improve agricultural accessibility and contribute to the sustainable development of the Municipality of Roxas;

NOW THEREFORE on motion of Councilor King Philip B. Dimapilis and on mass sponsorship -

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to endorse, as it hereby endorses, the request of Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor, to the Department of Agriculture (DA) for the construction of a local access road at Sitio Jamindang, Barangay Dangay, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, with an estimated project cost of Thirty Million Pesos (₱30,000,000.00).

RESOVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Department of Agriculture, Office of the Municipal Mayor, Municipal Engineering Office, Municipal Agriculture Office, and other concerned offices and agencies for their information, consideration, and appropriate action.
