RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF MS. LOIDA C. SEVILLA AS THE LAND TITLING OFFICER OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO

WHEREAS, Section 443 (d) of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that the appointment of heads of departments and offices shall be made by the Municipal Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all the Sangguniang Bayan members;

WHEREAS, the Honorable Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, has appointed Ms. Loida C. Sevilla as the Land Titling Officer of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan has carefully examined the appointment papers and supporting documents submitted by the Office of the Municipal Mayor and has found the appointment to be in order and in compliance with the applicable laws, Civil Service Commission rules, and qualification standards for the position;

WHEREAS, after due deliberation, the Sangguniang Bayan finds it proper and in the best interest of the Municipal Government to concur in the appointment of Ms. Loida C. Sevilla;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Gualberto V. Magno duly seconded by Councilor Christopher Y. Carvajal and Councilor David D. De La Cruz –

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang Bayan, to concur in the appointment of Ms. Loida C. Sevilla as Land Titling Officer of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Honorable Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Human Resource Management Office, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office, and Ms. Loida C. Sevilla for their information and guidance.
