REPUBLIC ACT No. 3026
An Act Authorizing the Payment of Additional Compensation to Highway Division Engineers, Highway District Engineers and City Engineers as Ex-Officio Division Engineers, District Engineers and City Engineers of the Bureau of Public Works, Respectively
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. Additional compensation for highway division engineers, highway district engineers and city engineers as ex-officio division engineers, district engineers and city engineers of the Bureau of Public Works, respectively, is hereby authorized to be paid from the Engineering funds, K-26, of the district or city or from any fund of the province, subprovince or city concerned, in the following amounts, subject, however, to the availability of such funds:
The additional compensation of the highway division engineer shall be apportioned proportionately among the provinces, subprovinces and cities composing the Division.
Section 2. All laws or parts thereof inconsistent herewith are repealed or modified accordingly.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon the date of effectivity of Republic Act Numbered Eighteen hundred thirty-six, which has authorized the dual functions.
