REPUBLIC ACT No. 5165
An Act Providing for the Standardization of Salaries of Officials in the Bureau of Public Works
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. Any existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, salaries for the following positions in the Bureau of Public Works are hereby fixed as follows:
The allocation of the above-mentioned positions shall be adjusted to the WAPCO ranges corresponding to the amounts herein provided.
Section 2. Such sums as are necessary to implement this Act during the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-seven are hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, the sums necessary for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. The incumbents of the positions whose salaries are herein standardized shall automatically be entitled to the benefits hereof without the need of extending another appointment.
Section 4. All Acts, executive orders, administrative orders, proclamation, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, inconsistent with this Act are repealed or amended accordingly.
Section 5. This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred sixty-six.
