AN ACT TO AMEND CERTAIN ITEMS IN REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FOURTEEN HUNDRED ELEVEN REGARDING PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS FOR THE PROVINCES OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AND LANAO.

AN ACT TO AMEND CERTAIN ITEMS IN REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FOURTEEN HUNDRED ELEVEN REGARDING PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS FOR THE PROVINCES OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AND LANAO.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Project Item No. "D-351.1, Silay Water works", on pages four hundred four-A and four hundred five-A of Appendix A of  Republic Act Numbered One thousand four hundred eleven, is amended as follows:

Under the column "Total estimated cost", change the figure "one hundred seventy" to "twenty five";

Under the column "Total for five years", change the figure "one hundred fifty" to "five"; Under the column "nineteen hundred fifty-six to fifty-seven", change the figure "one hundred fifty" to "five";

Under the column "Remarks", delete all and in lieu thereof put "Purchase and installation of engine for pumps".

Section 2. Under paragraph g, section two of the same Act, ”Negros Occidental", add the following items  after "item Numbered  fifty-five (a):

Section 3. As a consequence of the above amendments, the total for paragraph "a", Title D of section one, and the total for paragraph "g" of section two of Republic Act Numbered One thousand four hundred eleven are correspondingly adjusted.

Section 4. Item twelve, page four hundred seventy-three under sub-paragraph "z. Lanao" of section three of Republic Act Numbered One thousand four hundred eleven is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
