RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE SAMAHAN NG NAGKAKAISANG KABABAIHAN AT MANGINGISDA NG SITIO BUKANA (SNKMB) FOR A FINANCIAL GRANT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P100,000.00) INTENDED FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A BROILER CHICKEN PRODUCTION PROJECT FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Local Government Unit of Roxas to promote sustainable economic development and improve the socio-economic well-being of its constituents through livelihood assistance and community-based income-generating projects;

WHEREAS, the Samahan ng Nagkakaisang Kababaihan at Mangingisda ng Sitio Bukana (SNKMB) is a duly organized and Sangguniang Bayan-accredited people's organization committed to implementing livelihood programs and initiatives aimed at improving the income, economic well-being, and quality of life of its members and their families;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Roxas recognizes the importance of supporting community organizations through financial assistance and technical interventions to ensure the successful implementation of livelihood projects;

WHEREAS, a financial grant in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00) shall be provided to SNKMB, subject to existing accounting, auditing, and government regulations, for the implementation of the said project;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED...

BE IT RESOLVED to authorize Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, to enter into and sign, for and on behalf of the Municipal Government of Roxas, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Samahan ng Nagkakaisang Kababaihan at Mangingisda ng Sitio Bukana (SNKMB) for the grant of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00) intended for the implementation of a Broiler Chicken Production Project for Sustainable Livelihood.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Accountant, the Municipal Treasurer, the Municipal Budget Officer, SNKMB, and other concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
