RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. JERWIN S. DIMAPILIS, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN A DEED OF DONATION WITH THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF ORIENTAL MINDORO FOR THE DONATION OF ONE (1) UNIT OF GEO CAMERA TO THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO, FOR THE USE OF THE MUNICIPAL ASSESSOR’S OFFICE

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro intends to donate one (1) unit of Geo Camera to the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, for use by the Municipal Assessor’s Office in the performance of its mandated functions;

WHEREAS, the donation of the said equipment will provide the Municipal Assessor’s Office with an additional technological tool to facilitate and improve the conduct of property assessment, field validation, mapping, documentation, and other related activities within the Municipality;

WHEREAS, the acceptance of the donated equipment is beneficial to the Municipal Government of Roxas as it will enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the Municipal Assessor’s Office in the delivery of its services and in the performance of its functions;

WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, the Municipal Mayor, as the Local Chief Executive, is authorized to represent the Municipality in all its business transactions and sign contracts and such other obligations on behalf of the Municipality, upon authority of the Sangguniang Bayan;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor, to enter into and sign, for and on behalf of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, a Deed of Donation with the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro covering the donation of ONE (1) UNIT OF GEO CAMERA, to be utilized by the Municipal Assessor’s Office.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro, the Office of the Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Assessor’s Office, and other concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
