RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING MS. PAULINE MARGARET S. VIVAR, A BONAFIDE RESIDENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, FOR HER EXEMPLARY ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, takes pride in recognizing and honoring its residents who have demonstrated exceptional excellence, dedication, leadership, and commitment in their chosen fields, thereby bringing honor and distinction to the Municipality and serving as an inspiration to the youth and the community;

WHEREAS, Ms. Pauline Margaret S. Vivar, a bonafide resident of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, has distinguished herself through her exemplary academic performance, leadership, professional engagements, and active participation in various academic and development-oriented organizations and activities;

WHEREAS, Ms. Vivar is a graduate of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), where she completed the Master-Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy with Specialization in International Relations and Development, demonstrating exceptional academic excellence and a strong interest in economics, international relations, development, and public affairs;

WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding academic performance, Ms. Vivar graduated as Batch Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude, placing her among the highest-achieving graduates of her graduating batch;

WHEREAS, her academic excellence was further recognized through her distinction as a 100% Merit Scholar, demonstrating her sustained commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and intellectual development;

WHEREAS, Ms. Vivar further enhanced her academic and professional knowledge by completing a Certificate in Development Economics and Behavioral Economics from Oxford University, as well as a Certificate in Consumer Psychology from Dongguk University, reflecting her continuing pursuit of knowledge and multidisciplinary learning;

WHEREAS, Ms. Vivar has likewise demonstrated excellence and competence in international and academic engagements, having been recognized as an Outstanding Delegate at the International Model United Nations 2024, showcasing her knowledge, diplomacy, communication skills, and understanding of international affairs;

WHEREAS, her academic excellence and achievements were further recognized through her receipt of the Academic Excellence Award during the 31st Equatorial Rites of the University of Asia and the Pacific;

WHEREAS, Ms. Vivar has also exhibited commendable leadership and organizational skills, having served as Captain of the Junior Networkers Society for Academic Year 2024–2025 and President of the Research Development Committee for Academic Year 2024–2025;

WHEREAS, she has further contributed to student journalism and organizational development as Politics and Opinion Editor of The Bosun for Academic Year 2023–2024, and as Junior Vice President for Sponsorships of Sabio for Academic Year 2023–2024;

WHEREAS, her remarkable accomplishments demonstrate not only intellectual excellence but also leadership, initiative, research capability, civic awareness, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and personal development;

WHEREAS, Ms. Vivar’s achievements bring honor, pride, and distinction to her family, the University of Asia and the Pacific, and the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, and serve as a source of inspiration to the young people of the Municipality to pursue academic excellence and become productive and responsible members of society;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan recognizes the importance of acknowledging outstanding achievements of local residents, particularly those of the youth, as a means of encouraging them to pursue excellence, develop their potentials, and contribute meaningfully to the development of the Municipality and the nation;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Marietta R. Pajila and on mass sponsorship –

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to congratulate and commend Ms. Pauline Margaret S. Vivar, a bonafide resident of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, for her exemplary academic achievements, outstanding leadership, professional accomplishments, and significant contributions to academic and development-oriented activities, particularly for her graduation from the University of Asia and the Pacific as Batch Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude under the Master-Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy with Specialization in International Relations and Development.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be presented to Ms. Pauline Margaret S. Vivar as a formal expression of the Sangguniang Bayan’s congratulations, commendation, and appreciation for her outstanding achievements, and that copies hereof be furnished to her family for their information and appropriate recognition.
