RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (SIP) NO. 02 FY 2026 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO

WHEREAS, Section 16 of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, mandates local government units to promote the general welfare of their inhabitants through the implementation of programs, projects, and activities responsive to their needs and supportive of sustainable development;

WHEREAS, Section 106 of the same Code provides that every local government unit shall formulate a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan and an investment program to serve as the primary basis for budgeting and implementation of development projects;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Development Council (MDC) has endorsed the Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) No. 02, Fiscal Year 2026, containing priority programs, projects, and activities to be funded from available financial resources of the Municipal Government;

WHEREAS, the Hon. Jerwin S. Dimapilis, Municipal Mayor through his letter dated June 30, 2026, transmitted the Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) No. 02, Fiscal Year 2026, to the Sangguniang Bayan for adoption and approval;

WHEREAS, after due deliberation, the Sangguniang Bayan found the proposed Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) No. 02, Fiscal Year 2026 to be necessary, beneficial, and consistent with the development priorities of the Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro;

NOW THEREFORE on motion of Councilor Marietta R. Pajila seconded by Councilor King Philip B. Dimapilis and Councilor Robert A. Baticos -

BE IT RESOLVED to approve as it hereby approves the Supplemental Investment Program No. 02 for FY 2026 Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to send copies of this resolution the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro for their information and necessary action.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies of this resolution all municipal offices concerned of the municipal government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro for their information and reference.
