RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF DR. RAINIER JOHN S. BUENSALIDA AS THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICER (MHO) OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF ROXAS, ORIENTAL MINDORO

WHEREAS, Section 443 (d) of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that the appointment of heads of departments and offices shall be made by the Municipal Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all the Sangguniang Bayan members;

WHEREAS, the appointee, Dr. Rainier John S. Buensalida, possesses all the necessary qualifications, experience, and eligibility required for the position of Municipal Health Officer as provided under Section 478 of the same Code and existing Civil Service laws;

WHEREAS, the position of Municipal Health Officer is vital to the effective delivery of basic health services and the implementation of public health programs in the Municipality;

WHEREAS, after due deliberation, the Honorable August Body find the appointment to be in order and in the best interest of public service;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Christopher Y. Carvajal duly seconded by Councilor Robert A. Baticos –

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang Bayan, to express the formal concurrence and approval of the Sangguniang Bayan to the appointment of DR. RAINIER JOHN S. BUENSALIDA as the Municipal Health Officer of the Municipal Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Honorable Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Human Resource Management Office, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office, and Dr. Rainier John S. Buensalida for their information and guidance.
