AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NAGUILIAN, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, INTO A "CLASS D" DISTRICT OFFICE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO DISTRICT OFFICE OF NAGUILIAN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office in the Municipality of Naguilian, Province of La Union, is hereby converted into a "Class D" district office, to be known as the LTO District Office of Naguilian.
Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the "Class D" LTO District Office in the Municipality of Naguilian, Province of La Union, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the existing LTO naguilian Extension Office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
